Interal aims towards higher machining precision with probing

Interal has recently installed probing solutions in a few of our CNC machines, in order to achieve increased precision, less variations and a better machining result. We started up this project before the summer vacations in our Haas VF4. This showed to be an efficient investment so at this stage we have installed this on two more machines. The probe gives us the possibility to set the zero-position directly on the detail which will be machined, instead of setting the zero to the fixture. This contributes to a more exact result and decreased variation which we consider a significant step in our quality work.
