Quality and environment at Interal
At Interal, quality and environmental issues are an integral part of our daily work and long-term strategy. We optimise raw material usage and support our customers with production adjustments to reduce waste and maximise production efficiency. We are certified according to ISO 9001 and 14001, which gives us a good basis for continuous improvement, reduced environmental impact and the ability to meet our customers' expectations.
Our environment and climate goals
We have a clear goal: to reduce both our energy consumption and our dependence on fossil fuels, thus lowering our carbon footprint. Smart investments and concrete actions are driving us forward. Examples of what we have already done:
- Solar panels, which now account for around a fifth of all the electricity we use at Interal
- More electric company cars in our fleet
- Installation of charging points, so that both staff and company vehicles can be charged on site
Through energy-efficient solutions, we create both climate benefits and contribute to a sustainable future. .
Our focus on quality strengthens the environment
We recognise that high quality and environmental responsibility are linked, and our quality objective is to minimise costs associated with quality defects. Lower rejections and fewer defects not only mean more satisfied customers, but also reduced environmental impact through lower material and energy consumption. Our internal processes are continuously reviewed and improved, both to strengthen quality and to economise on resources.
