As sustainability is an important issue for us at Interal, we decided at the turn of the year to report in Ecovadis.
Ecovadis is an international assessment platform for the sustainability performance of companies/organisations and covers four different areas;
- Environment
- Labour law and human rights
- Ethics
- Sustainable procurement
We are now at the end of our reporting for this year and can announce that we achieved a bronze medal (which includes the top 16-35% of reporting companies). Interal's results were among the top 31% for the current reporting year. See Interal's results here!
In the environmental field, we are at the forefront, which is consistent with the investments we have made in recent years, such as the installation of solar panels, electric cars and a constant focus on reducing the amount of aluminium scrap; both by optimising material purchases and maintaining a high level of quality.
For Interal, Ecovadis is an important milestone to continue to grow and develop together with our customers, employees and suppliers and it gives us proof that we work in a sustainable way and helps us to continue to develop in the right direction.
