Looking back at 2019

9 January 2020

A year has passed and we see it as a good opportunity to reflect on everything that has happened here at Interal over the past year. Here is a summary of some of the key events in our business in 2019.

During the past year, we have focused a lot on automation in our Swedish factory. We have installed two new robot cells; one in the spring and one in the autumn, both of which are in operation and an important step for increased capacity and efficiency. We have also invested in additional tumbling equipment, a new forklift and increased the space in our warehouse. In line with increased automation and many new advanced articles / projects, we have expanded the workforce with additional production technicians and measurement technicians to keep up with the track. We have participated in the project Kompetenssäkrad industri and in parallel with this we have actively worked on increased cooperation and greater commitment among all staff, e.g. through meetings in small groups for training / discussion purposes and weekly pulse meetings focusing on staff / work environment and quality issues / improvement measures.

In the China factory, we have invested in three new CNC machines and an automatic cutter, and not least importantly, a coordinate measuring machine. Both the workforce and turnover have increased by about double.

We ended our financial year with a record SEK 64.7 million.

Thank you to all our customers, suppliers and other partners who have contributed to a fantastic year, and we look forward to a new decade with the hope of further success together.

With this, we wish you a good start to 2020!
