At our factory in Habo, there has been a lot of focus on the assembly department, which grew during the spring both in terms of surface area and the range of processes. Among other things, we bought a press screw machine and also equipment for the assembly of helicoils. A new CNC multi-op was also added at the end of the year, as we saw the need for this thanks to a steadily increasing order intake during the past year.
Our China factory has moved to larger premises and we have also expanded the machinery there. The new premises have been a big boost both in terms of the working environment and in terms of getting an efficient and smooth process flow throughout the production chain.
There have also been some developments on the personnel front. In China, a couple more employees have been hired, both in production and administration; logistics/quality. Here in Habo, Johan Nilsson took over as production manager in the summer. Peter Wallinder has taken over Robert Grubesic's position in technology/preparation, as Robert left Interal. This means that Niclas Fotsjö and Andreas Simonsson now remain as partners and will continue to drive the business forward.
