Punching/pressing at Interal
Interal's punching and pressing department consist of a number of eccentric presses that are mainly used for hole punching and embossing. We have both manual and semi-automatic presses that are suitable for processing larger volumes, where the wall thickness is up to 10 mm.
Punching - a classic processing method for large series
Punching/pressing is a manufacturing method where the shape/hole pattern on the workpiece is pressed/cut with great force by means of a rotating wheel. The rotating force is converted into a linear motion that causes the press to contract and disintegrate. As this method has a very short cycle time, it is suitable for large production series. Eccentric pressing requires that tools are developed for the product to be manufactured.
