1976
Interal AB was founded in Bankeryd by Göran Isaksson and his brother-in-law Birger Ärlig. The business idea was subcontracting with focus on metal processing.
1977
Industrial land was purchased in Habo where Interal AB built up a production company of approximately 1000 m2, and the company was moved from Bankeryd to Habo.
1986
The first CNC machine was purchased and put into operation
1991-97
Between 1991 and 1997, the facility expanded in several steps; from 1000 m2 to 4895 m2. ISO 9001 certification implemented in 1997.
2004
Automatization - The production was extended with a robot cell with vision technique. CAD was implemented - transition from 2D to 3D Solidworks.
2005
Cooperation with suppliers from Asia was introduced
2007
Our offer within aluminium is extended by the introduction of die casting
2009
Interal was purchased by Andreas Simonsson, Niclas Fotsjö and Robert Grubesic
2012
ISO 14001 certification - an important step in Interal's commitment for the environment
2013
Mastercam was implemented for more efficient CNC programming. Investment in a new machining center for long lengths.
2014
Acquisition of company in China; Foshan Interal Metal products Co. Ltd. Implementation of new ERP - Monitor - in our production in Sweden.
2017
Our factory in China grows and was upgraded to larger premises – 1000 m2
2018
ISO 9001 and Monitor ERP was implemented in our factory in China. Change in the owner structure at Interal - Andreas Simonsson and Niclas Fotsjö remains as owners.
2019
Investment in CMM in the China factory
